These alignment-based classes welcome beginners and challenge advanced students. By aligning digits and joints, directing energy, and creating depth with the breath, students will create an expanded sense of their yoga practice. My classes move from strong to calm. Simplicity in action is usually difficult to achieve, so there is a lot of emphasis on the alignment of digits and joints as well as the direction of energy and breath.
Private lessons are like having a one-on-one tutor: the class is completely based on your needs. If you are trying to build a certain strength or you need a period of calm without a class, then a private lesson can be useful. Some prefer to take one private lesson and others choose private lessons consistently.
Workshops are offered periodically. My favorite workshop title ever was “Yoga for Totally Inflexible Men Who Can’t Touch Their Toes” which I taught in Louisville, KY circa 2004. I also loved teaching “Free your Hips and Your Mind Will Follow”.
